28 May Post Gnar Jam Wrap-up.
GNAR JAM was a HUGE success! There was an ENORMOUS turn out and everyone had a good time… and shit went down!

We had a best trick on a quarter pipe (footage coming up in the next short while), and some good stuff happened, people really went off. Marc came close to cross-legged whips and 720 flyouts, Trucker Dan manualed across the whole park before carrying it all the way to an abubaca on the coping. TJ was trying fakie truck drivers! It was narrowed down to 4 guys in the end:
Phil From Winkler did an “underhanded” barspin disaster.
Dave Hawthorne did a smoooooth 720 tap to fakie.
Shaun did a 360 drop in, as well as a 3 to fakie, and then a fakie 540 out.
And Gerry stuck a huge downside whip over the hip off the quarter.
Gerry then proceded to win by sticking a backflip (footage was lost, if anyone has pics, email me at droppthehammer@hotmail.com). He got hooked up with some gear from Dedline 6.
As for the high jump contest… wow.
Once we finally got past all the issues with the most haggard high jumping contraption ever constructed, it came down to a tie with Taylor and Marc both flying 6.5 feet out of a bank. That’s taller than Anand…
