I was thinking the other day after reading this Chris Doyle thing on Dig that the Kink video needed a re-up, then all of a sudden it was linked to on TCU and I just had to do it. It’s crazy how good this video is. The Kink team literally shut down Winnipeg, especially Doyle’s last clip, and it all went to web. Chinatown rail is the ender of all enders, and it got put on a blog where it disappeared 6 hours later. Not here though, and not TCU, because this video deserves a re-up more then almost any web video of the year. As a bonus I included the video from the east coast Macneil tour.

Ah, a pleasant follow-up to this other post. Harrison shot some photos at the 3Ride Vancouver Street Jam, and Harley shot me a link so you can see them over on Tenpack.

3Ride put up this short video from the final Re-Session Tour stop which consisted of a street ride through Vancouver. Short and sweet with some solid shredding.
These large scale street jams (like the ones that take place annually in Toronto) are always super successful, and definitely not worth missing out on. Hopefully Tenpack holds it down with all these summer events next year. Forget huge contests, take it back to the grassroots.

Apparently the Verde stop of the Tenpack Re-Session Tour went really well. Eric Marshall showed me this rad photo from the Verde blog and it got me psyched. So good. You can check Verde out on twitter, as well.
Matt Beyers had a little interview up on the Re-Session Blog as well which is worth checking out. Might as well peep this video too.
Hope you guys had a good weekend. We’ll be back to regular updates this week so stay tuned.

Ten Pack has been hitting Canada hard this summer by sending pros (and no names like myself) all across the country to meet locals, shred parks, and party like crazy. Check out the flyer for the final stop, and let’s hope they do this shit again next year.
The last stop of the Re-session Tour is set to go down this weekend in Vancouver with the help of 3Ride and Wethepeople. Wethepeople are sending some heavy names including Chester Blacksmith, Andrew Jackson, Max Gaertig, Marcus Crubbs and Ashley Charles. A street jam is planned that Sam Lowe mapped out, so you know it’ll be good. We’re going to keep the spots a secret until a day or two before the jam, but the meeting spot is at Hastings skatepark at noon on Saturday.

Ryan Barret of Verde has a quick little email-style interview on the Re-Session blog where he talks about Canada being dope. Pretty interesting, I guess.
You’re no stranger to Canada, what do you think of the BMX scene here?
Man, I love it! Good attitudes and great spots.
How important do you think events like the Re-session Tour and other local events are to the BMX scene?
I am all for tours and jams. It brings people together in their normal riding scenes, not a fabricated course. Plus you just chill, maybe hit up the best place to eat or swim after the session. Overall, it is a more real experience than a structured event.

Tenpack is adding another date with Verde to their already successful Re-Session Tour. They’ll be posting some interviews with Ryan Barret, Matt Beyers (pictured above), and some shop owners over on the blog. You’ll be able to see all that stuff here when it drops too, so stay tuned.
That’s right, we’re adding yet another date to the Re-session Tour! The Verde team (Ryan Barrett, Matt Beyers, Dave Thompson and Roman Tencza) are coming in a bit early to stop in at Cap’s Bicycle Warehouse in Langley on Thursday August 20. They’ll be hanging out at the shop for a bit followed up by some shredding at the Brookswood skatepark. They’ll be riding some parks around Vancouver area on Friday and will then be heading to Vancouver Island for the trails jam. I have some interviews coming up with Ryan Mountain from Cap’s Langley and Ryan Barrett and Matt Beyers from Verde, watch out for those.

Macneil just posted a bunch of photos from the Federal portion of the Re-Session tour. You can check them all out by clicking here or on the photo of Dillon Lloyd above. Also, Harrison Boyce shot all the photos on his iPhone, which I found pretty interesting.

The Re-Session blog has been seeing plenty of updates over the past little while, so hit that up. Check out the above video from the Kink leg of the trip that went through the prairies. They absolutely destroy Winnipeg, as well as Saskatoon, Regina, and Prince Albert. Also, check out the video below by Jeremy Deme which covers the Eastern portion of the tour which took the Macneil team and a few guests through Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal. You can follow the tour on Twitter as well.
