How has winter been treating you? I heard you’ve been having some trouble with your shoulder.
It’s been pretty harsh, man. No warehouse and this fucked up shoulder got me singin the blues. It just keeps dislocating, so I cant really ride. I go in for surgery on march 8th, so hopefully that goes well and I can get riding again soon.

You’ve always been known to have super dialed set-ups. How does this one feel?
It’s probably one of the most dialed bikes I’ve had. Ever since I gave up on trying to have the lightest bikes, I started obsessing over other stuff like set up quality and shit. My bike isn’t scooter light anymore, and I think it’s helped a lot.

I noticed a normal front wheel instead of the crazy one you used to ride. Have you ever cared about weight? Or just less now than before, if ever?
Ha ha, yeah man. I couldn’t be bothered to drill a rim anymore, that shit used to take me hours. I think I just liked the way it looked or something. Cause I’m a mechanic, I’m always trying to make my bike dope in one way or another. It used to mean making it as light as possible, but I randomly just stopped caring about it. And like I said, I just started focusing on how solid my bike felt instead. Ha ha, straight shop talk.
